Aoralscan 3 Scanner

Here at Avelle Orthodontics, we value keeping up with the latest developments in orthodontics so that we can provide our patients with the finest service possible. We are pleased to provide our patients with better care using the Aoralscan 3 scanner, which enables our team to take precise dental impressions to be made without the use of any potentially harmful materials or the generation of extraneous waste. Using an intraoral camera, the Aoralscan 3 can create a 3D model of your teeth and gums from several photos. The scanner is quick, precise, and simple to operate; to use it, just open your mouth wide, and Dr. Larson will move the wand gently around your mouth, creating a scan. In a matter of minutes, Dr. Larson will have a very accurate 3D digital scan of your teeth to help in arranging your orthodontic care.

CBCT Scanner

All of our patients should receive top-notch treatment. That’s why we’ve invested in CBCT technology, which enables us to identify patient needs more precisely than ever before. Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an imaging technique that employs X-rays to produce high-resolution, three-dimensional pictures of anatomical features of the head, including the teeth, jawbone, and sinuses. CBCT scanners provide far higher resolution pictures than standard X-rays or CT scans, as well as enhanced contrast across tissue types. Because of this, they are perfect for use in orthodontic evaluation and planning.
